Kevin Hannaway gets Pan American Squash position

President of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Squash Association and secretary of the Caribbean Area Squash Association (CASA) Kevin Hannaway, has accepted an offer to serve on the technical committee of the Pan American Squash Federation.

His tenure, like that of the others on the committee would be from 2020 to 2023.

Hannaway told SEARCHLIGHT of being “ shocked” at being nominated and moreso his appointment.

“I was shocked as such appointments come from having been part of the Pan American Games, but I believe my recommendation came after I called to assist, at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Colombia”, Hannaway related.

“It is however a great feeling though that my expertise is being acknowledged,” Hannaway noted.

Possessing a wealth of knowledge as it relates to tournaments, Hannaway, who is still an active squash player, has served as tournament director at OECS and CASA championships.
