Smashers undermine Top Notch in Biabou softball cricket

One match was contested last Sunday at the Biabou Playing Field in the Biabou 20/20 softball cricket competition.

The match resulted in Bruce Law Chambers Smashers defeating Top Notch by 12 runs.

Batting first, Smashers made 133 for 8 from 18 overs. Zeron Harry scored 43 and Ulron Mc Kenzie, 33.

Bowling for Top Notch, Farokh Sutherland took 3 for 27.

In reply, Top Notch made 121 for 8 from their allotment. Shafeek Theobalds scored 24 and Rohan Grant, 21.

St Clair Dickson took 3 for 21 and Keeno Matthews, 2 for 12.

Matches are carded for this weekend as the competition continues. 

On Saturday AIA Jets plays Owia Young Strikers from 12:30 p.m.

Two matches are scheduled for Sunday. From 12:30 p.m., Hard Hitters oppose Just For the Fun and from 3 p.m., Caesar’s Real Estate Nar Fren Dem take on Bank of SVG All Starz.
