Bequia XI humble Northern Stars in first division salvo

Keegan’s Bequia XI handed defending National Lotteries Authority First Division champions- MSDA Jules Anthony Nothern Stars, a trouncing at Arnos Vale Two Playing Field on Sunday, as the 2020 edition bowled off.

Olanzo Lavia topscored with 45, as Bequia XI posted 152 all out from 33.3 overs.

Bowling for Northern Stars, Dorson Cottle picked off 7/18.

In response, Northern Stars – 126 all out from 27.3 overs. O’ Jay Matthews and Elron Lewis, both scored 36.

Chelson Stowe ravaged the Northern Stars’ batting, taking 6/21, as Bequia XI won by 26 runs.

Joining Bequia XI as opening winners, was the French Verandah SVG Community College , which beat St. Vincent Distillers Glamorgan by seven wickets.

Glamorgan was dismissed for 94 in 27 overs, undone by the bowling of Azar Williams, who snared 3 / 20 and Reynolson Hillocks 3 / 30.

Tilron Harry- 53 not out and Rayshorne Durrant – 29 not out, reached 95/3 from 14.4 overs, to shepherd SVG Community College to a seven wicket triumph.
