Ministry of Education/ Teachers lands double in firms netball

The Ministry of Education/Teachers combined remained in command of the 2019 St Vincent and the Grenadines Netball Association Firms and Industrial Netball Tournament, by adding the knock-out title to the league, last Saturday evening at the Kingstown Netball Centre.

As in the league race, standing in the Ministry of Education / Teachers combined way, was the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture outfit.

The latter in last Saturday’s duel, was ahead at the end of the first quarter 16-12. But the Ministry of Education/ Teachers combined reserved the lead, as the second finished 28-24, in their favour.

At the end of the third quarter, the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture had gone ahead 37-25.

However, at the sound of the final whistle, the scores read: Ministry of Education/ Teachers combined 51, the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture, 50.

The other competing teams were RSVG Police, Digihealth, KFC, Massy Stores SVG, and Sea and Airport/ CWSA.

Moeth Gaymes of the Ministry of Education/ Teachers combined, was named at the male player of the tournament.
