Outa Trouble in Greiggs softball cricket final again

Defending champions of the Caesar’s Real Estate, Hairoun Beer, FLOW, Nar Fren Dem Greiggs T20 softball cricket competition, Country Meet Town Outa Trouble, have another crack at being crowned the 2019 winners.

This, after they registered a 59-run win over Sion Hill Tallawahs in the semi-finals, last Sunday at the Greiggs Central Playing Field.

Outa Trouble made 127 for 9, from their 20 overs, Saski Weekes top scored with 34. Debson Hoyte took 3 for13. Sion Hill Tallawahs replied with 68 all out in 14.1 overs.

Bowling for Outa Trouble, Sunil James scalped 4 for 19 and Alwyn Quashie took 3 for 24. 

In the other semi-finals, Hard Hitters beat Caesar’s Real Estate Nar Fren Dem by 8 wickets.

Trevin Baptiste bagged 6 for 16, as Nar Fren Dem were bowled out for 35 in 12.2 overs.

Hard Hitters replied with 36 for 2 in 6 overs; Kerwin Williams scored 23 not out.

Nar Fren Dem’s showing in the semi-finals, was the opposite from what they produced the previous day in the quarter-finals.

Nar Fren Dem posted 189 for 3 from 17 overs against Bank of SVG All Stars. Ceon Phillips scored 114.

All Stars in response scored 149 all out in 15.4 overs. Glenroy Dasent topscored with 72. Cordice Oliver took 3 for 12 and Sachin James had 3 for 43, as Nar Fren Dem won by 40 runs.

The final and presentation ceremony, are set for Sunday, December 1.
