GHS go after netball double

The Girls’ High School will be aiming for the secondary schools’ netball double, when the finals are held this Saturday at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex.

The Girls’ High School will be aiming to do the double in the junior and senior category, after winning their respective matches.

The GHS had a 29-25 win over the Bethel High School, and will meet West St George Secondary, who edged out North Union Secondary, 17-16.

In the senior division, GHS beat the Gladiators of Georgetown Secondary, 25-18, and will face the Troumaca Ontario Mustangs in the final. Troumaca beat Mountain View Adventist in their semi final, 29-14.

The third place playoffs will be held next Friday, between the Bethel High School and North Union Secondary in the juniors, and Mountain View Adventist will take on Georgetown in the Seniors.

The Girls’ High and West St George will meet in the finals of the juniors, and against Troumaca, in the seniors.
