Nar Fren Dem, RSVG Police advance to Greiggs softball cricket quarter finals

Caesar’s Real Estate Nar Fren Dem and RSVG Police are through to the quarter-finals of the Caesar’s Real Estate, Hairoun Beer, FLOW, Nar Fren Dem Greiggs T20 softball cricket compeition.

Both had wins last Saturday at the Greiggs Central Playing Field.

Nar Fren Dem beat Rasfarco by 44 runs, in a match reduced to 17 overs because of a late start.

Nar Fren Dem made 131 for 7 from their 17 overs. Ceon Phillips topscored with 56. Philmon Baptiste took 3 for 6 and Sobarto Joseph had 2 for 17.

Rasfarco replied with 87 all out. Nejreal Matthias scored 27. Wayne Garraway took 4 for 19 and Cody Jarvis, 3 for 21.

And, in another 17-over affair, RSVG Police won by six wickets over Israel Bruce Smashers.

Smashers made 158 for 6 from their 17 overs. Keno Matthews topscored with 60 not out and St Clair Dickson, 33 not out.

RSVG Police replied with 159 for 4 from 15.1 overs. Salvan Browne scored 58, Andrew Thomas, 47 and Saleme George-, 29 not out.

Glendon James took 2 for 29.
