Firms Industrial netball tournament 2019 serves off

The 2019 Firms and Industrial netball tournament got going last Tuesday at the Kingstown Netball Centre at New Montrose.

KFC Warriors – best dressed team 

Amidst the grey skies, the resplendent colours of the participating teams lit the venue.

But it was KFC Warriors who were adjudged the best dressed team on show, while RSVG Police won the best banner award.

The other competing teams are defending league champions, the Department of Sports, DigiHealth, Ministry of Sea & Air/CWSA, Massy Stores SVG and Ministry of Education/ Teachers.

RSVP Police are the reigning knock-out champions.

Last Tuesday’s opening was addressed by president of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Netball Association Doris Mc Intosh, Minister of Tourism, Sports and Culture Ces Mc Kie and Senator Deborah Charles.

Following the formalities, the scheduled match between the Department of Sports and RSVG Police had to be postponed because of heavy rains.
