Troumaca Starlight goes under to Rose Hall Legends

Robertson Survey Rose Hall Legends got past Carlos James Troumaca Starlight by the narrowest of margins last Saturday at the Cumberland Playing Field, in the Jules Anthony VINLEC North Leeward Sports and Cultural Organisation 20/20 cricket competition.

Rose Hall posted 149 for 9 from their 20 overs.

Jordon Samuel stroked 49, Dean Browne, 37 and Winston Samuel, 22.

Bowling for Troumaca Starlight, Donald Delpesche had 4 for 36 and Geron Wyllie took 2 for 21.

Troumaca Starlight replied with 148 for 8 from their allotted 20 overs, despite Niclon Alexander’s 91 and Kevin Samuel’s 28.

Dean Browne picked up 3 for17, Marcus Castello had 2 for 22 and Winston Samuel, 2 for 24.

Also on Saturday, Summerset beat Coulls Hill Rangers by 99 runs.

Summerset tallied 155 all out in 19.2 overs.

Asroy Fredericks scored 57 and Alain Williams, 34.

Cavey Holder scalped 5 for 16 and Marcus Mc Coy, 3 for 24.

But it took the Summerset bowlers 10.2 overs to dismiss Coulls Hill Rangers for 56.

Ezray Glasgow had 2 for 2, Carlos Jordan had 2 for 10 and Bishon Williams, 2 for 15.
