SVG masters host six weekend cricket matches

D Trucking Ptani defeated Stanley Dalzell Park Hill by 135 runs at the Sion Hill Playing Field on Saturday in one of six matches contested on the weekend, in the SVG Masters 20/20 cricket competition. 

Ptani scored 189 for 4 off 20 overs; Isaac Haywood  smashed 83 and Jerome Samuel- 40. 

In reply, Park Hill reched 53 all out, with Ray Richards, taking 5 for 15.

Meanwhile, Stanley Browne Stubbs outplayed North Windward by 25 runs at Arnos Vale Two, also on Saturday.

Stubbs made 136 for 8 off 20 overs, with Brian Alexander scoring 29. 

North Windward replied with 111 for 9 from their 20 overs. Kissinger Mc Lean captured 3 for 13. 

Then on Sunday, Memorial Funeral North Leeward beat Kirk Da Silva’s La Croix by six wickets at the Sion Hill Playing Field. 

La Croix made 67 all out. Ricky King scoired 33. 

Donovan Mason had 3 for 4, bowling for North Leeward, who replied with 73 for 4 from 9.2 overs. 

 Also at Sion Hill Playing Field on Sunday, Computec Belfongo overcame Sion Hill by 52 runs. 

Belfongo posted 151 for 8 from their 20 overs. Devon Williams scored 45, while Sylvannus Horne and Veldon Chance both stroked 28.

Joseph Medford and Sylvester Vanloo took 3 wickets each, bowling for Sion Hill, whose response ended at 99 for 4 from their 20 overs. Keyon Jack scored 26.

RSVG Police beat General Hardware Pastures on a faster scoring rate at Arnos Vale Two. 

RSVG POlice scored 148 for 8 from 20 overs, with Parnel Browne scoring 50.

casptured 3 for 32 and Lennnox Samuel, 3 for 41. 

Pastures was 116 for 7 when rain ended play. 

There were two wickets each for Parnel Browne and Elmore Alexander.

And, at the Clive Tannis Playing Field in Bequia, there was a no -result between 

Digicel Cato Heavy Equipment Glamorgan and Davis Construction Bequia.

Glamorgan scored 241 for 5 from 20 overs. Gershom Dick scored 74 and Clyde Mofford, 41. 

Adonel Foyle and Ellis Lavia took 2 wickets each.

Bequia was 22 without loss, when rain ended the match.
