SVG outdone in Beach Volleyball Continental Cup

St Vincent and the Grenadines were outduelled by St Lucia In the first phase of the Beach Volleyball Continental Cup, in the country versus country elimination in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on September 15, 2019. The Continental Cup was introduced in 2010 as part of the Beach Volleyball Olympic Games qualification system.

In the best of three game format Ronaldo Franklyn and Asmond Franklyn were edged out by Gillian Octave and Augustin Faulkner of St Lucia by scores of 21-19, 21-19. The second game saw a battle between Daryl Franklyn and Delshun Welcome of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Tevin St Jean and Germaine Curtney of St Lucia. The Lucians eventually prevailed 2 sets to 1 (21-14, 18-21, 15-7).
