That tally was 145 more than second place Thomas Saunders Secondary (220 points), by some distance. Third place Girls’ High School, compiled 159 points.

Bethel High School claimed the fourth place with 157 points and fifth was the St Joseph’s Convent Kingstown, with 142 points.

Exemplifying a team effort, Central Leeward had a single individual accolade, as Ulanda Lewis was crowned the intermediate champion.

Lewis registered 34 points and smashed her own records in the 100 and 200m, established in 2018.

At last Thursday’s final, Lewis clocked 12.33 seconds in the 100m and 25.30 seconds in the 200m.

In 2018, Lewis had established a new mark in the 100m of 12.35 seconds, and in the 200m, 25.31 seconds.
