Desron Maloney leads premier division run scoring
Hard hitting batsman Desron Maloney ended the National Lotteries Authority premier division of the national cricket programme, as the leading run-scorer.
A member of the Police Two outfit, Maloney tallied 377 runs, with a highest score of 188.
Maloney’s aggregate came from eight innings. He registered an average of 47.13.
Maloney edged out Team Rivals’ Hyron Shallow, who amassed 372 runs, including two centuries.
Shallow finished with an average of 124, and had a highest score of 160.
Completing the top five batsmen were Dillon Douglas of New Haven Funeral Home North Windward Youths (366 runs), Gidron Pope of FLOW Radcliffe (312 runs) and Deron Greaves, also of FLOW Radcliffe (254 runs).
