Grammar School retains schools’ Under-15 cricket title

The St Vincent Grammar School retained the schools’ Under-15 cricket title last Monday at the Arnos Vale Two Playing Field, with a 64-runs win over Petit Bordel Secondary.

 St Vincent Grammar School batted first and posted 177 for 2 from 30 overs. Luke Wilson scored 70 not out and Devonte Mc Dowall, 64 not out.

 Bowling for Petit Bordel, Emory Edwards took 2 for 32.

 In reply, Petit Bordel were dismissed for 113 off 22.4 overs. Zalpheus Medica led with 42 not out.

 Reynolly Hillocks, with 3 for 31, Devonte McDowall, 2 for 25 and Solomon Bascombe, 2 for 26, bowled the Grammar School to retention of the title.

 St Vincent Grammar School collected all three individual awards.

Reynolly Hillocks took the most wickets – 14, while Devonte Mc Dowall scored the most runs and best all-rounder accolade.
