Vincentian Dr Kishore Shallow vies for CWI vice- presidency

President of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association (SVGCA Inc.), Dr Kishore Shallow, and a Cricket West Indies director, will be seeking to unseat vice- president, Dominican-Emmanuel Nanthan, when Cricket West Indies holds it elections next month in Jamaica.

Shallow, 35, has been president of the SVGCA Inc. since 2014.

Shallow’s running-mate is former cabinet minister of his native St Kitts and Nevis and West Indies team manager Ricky Skerritt.

Skerritt’s bid is to unseat Cricket West Indies (CWI) president Dave Cameron.

Shallow and Skerritt have had their nominations supported by the Leeward Islands Cricket Board and Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board.

Cameron, who is Jamaican, is seeking a fourth consecutive term as CWI president.

He was first elected back in 2013 when he took over from St Lucian Julian Hunte.

It is anticipated that upcoming weeks will be one of intense campaigning .
