Keartons United takes Layou football league

A TRIVIS FRASER penalty was enough to give Keartons United a one nil win over White Wall in the Layou League Final which took place Sunday afternoon at the Layou Playing Field.

High Grade took third place, winning by default from Texiera Road which failed to show.

National goal keeper, Lemus Christopher, who played in the striker’s position for White Wall, was the leading goal scorer. Fourteen teams contested the league.
