Vincentian swim club Blue Marlins bagged 24 medals at last weekend’s hosting of the Barbados Short Course staged at the Aquatic Centre.

Topping Blue Marlin’s medal count was Kennice Greene, who tallied 10 medals (8 silver and 2 bronze).

Greene placed second overall in the girls 9-10 age group.

Zariel Nelson, who pouched Blue Marlins’ two gold medals, gained 7 medals, finishing third in the girls’ 9-10. Nelson also captured 2 silver and 3 bronze.

Placing third overall too, was Seth Byron, who contested the boys 9-10 age category.

Bryon’s 7 medals, consisted of 2 silver and 5 bronze.

In addition to the three medalists, Blue Marlins was represented in the 8 and under by Ahlil Cyrus, Tayeah St Hillaire, and Rhonyah Jack, who all returned best times, according to reports.
