Kyle Edwards in goal scoring form

Vincentian Kyle Edwards is in good goal-scoring form, in the National Collegiate Athletics Association division one football programme.

Edwards who plays for the University Of Texas Rio Grande Valley was last week voted the Western Athletic Conference offensive player of the week.

The last count of 13 goals showed that Edwards has the second most goals scored in a single season in the division one programme’s history.

Additionally, Edwards is the leading goal-scorer in the western conference.

Edwards, 21, has represented St Vincent and the Grenadines at the Under-17, Under- 20, Under-23 and senior levels.

Locally, he has played for System Three and for Barrouallie in football competitions under the aegis of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation.
