X- Ceed Sports Club nets new athletic talent

The X- Ceed Sports Club is harvesting the fruits of its labour, after sowing some track and field seeds during the months of July and August of this year.

When the club resumed its weekly training sessions at the Grammar School Playing Field last Monday, several of those budding athletes who attended the five-week camp recently, showed up to continue enhancement in the sport.

The camp, which was the seventh hosted by the X- Ceed Sports Club, sought to introduce and enhance the skills of the young athletes in several facets of track and field.

Overseeing the camp was head coach Godfrey Harry, who along with Khalil Cato,Chantel Legair, Javed Marksman and Ronique Dowers, were charged with instilling knowledge in the trainees.

Also lending a hand were Kailon Kirby and Rogike Thorpe, two former students of the Thomas Saunders Secondary School, who are currently attending the Kingsborough Community College in New York.
