SVG sends nine to NACAC championships in Canada

Nine athletes will represent St Vincent and the Grenadines at this weekend’s North American, Central America and Caribbean NACAC Championships in Toronto, Canada, from August 10 to 12.

The team comprises locally-based twin brothers Reberto and Reuberth Boyd, Mc Kish Compton, Akani Slater and Oj Jackson.

They will be joined in Toronto by the US-based quartet of Kasique Oliver, Kimorie Shearman, Jabari Michael-Khenshu and the lone female, Kineke Alexander.

The male athletes will compete in individual events, in addition to the 4x100m and 4x400m relays, while Alexander is listed for her pet event, the 400m.

The team will be coached by Godfrey Harry and managed by Rawlson Morgan.
