SVG Cycling Union rewards 2017 standout performers

THE ST VINCENT and the Grenadines Cycling Union has named its top awardees for 2017.

The recipients were announced last Friday evening at a brief ceremony which took place at the Xpert Computer Centre’s conference room.

Taking the top award of Cyclist of the Year was Zefal Bailey, who was also named the Elite Cyclist of the Year.

The Master Cyclist awardee was grasped by Peter Durrant, while the Most Improved Cyclist for 2017, went to Samuel Lyttle.

Last Friday’s brief awards ceremony was a return after there was none convened for performances in 2016.
