Team Athletics SVG staged its electoral meeting last Monday afternoon at the Xpert Computer Centre conference room.

But it was plain sailing for all officers elected, as the entire composition was voted in without opposition.

This meant that Keith Joseph remains as president for another four-year term.

Elected as vice-president is Michael Ollivierre, with Alexandra Walrond, the general secretary and Jacintha Ballantyne, treasurer.

Placed in the position of assistant secretary–treasurer is Chantel Legair, while Rawlson Morgan will continue his role as games secretary.

The three new committee members are Larissa John, Garth De Shong and Khalil Cato.

The executive would be completed when the coaches and athletes elect their respective representative and alternates.

Joseph, Ballantyne and Morgan are the trio that remains from the outgoing executive.

When TASVG held its last electoral meeting on December 14, 2013 at that same Xpert Centre venue, Joseph was returned unopposed as president and Rosmund Griffith was elected as vice-president.

Tyrone James was installed as the general secretary and Andrea David-Latchman, assistant general secretary.

Long-standing treasurer Jacintha Ballantyne remained in place, so too did games secretary Rawlson Morgan.

Three committee members in Alrick Wright, Samantha Goodluck and Debbie Jordan, completed the then executive.

Except for Tyrone James, who resigned last year, it was only Joseph, Ballantyne and Morgan who were known to be still functional within the executive for last two years.
