Wollis Christopher accepts CLSS recognition

Retired teacher Wollis Christopher, who spent 18 years at the Barrouallie Secondary School, also known as the Central Leeward Secondary, was last Thursday recognized by the institution at the Victoria Park.

Christopher was lauded for his service, namely in the field of sports.

And, it was fitting that he was honoured at the staging of the school’s athletics championships.

Caught by surprise, Christopher thanked all those who thought of him and bestowed such an honour.

“I have made my contribution to the school and it is good that they saw it fit to recognize me… I would always cherish this moment,” Christopher related.

A seasoned physical education teacher, Christopher, although retired, assists as an official at the various schools’ track and field meets currently taking place.
