Victors One pair top Premier Division batting/bowling stats

Victors One pair of Atticus Browne and Alston Bobb were the top run-scorer and top wicket-taker, respectively, in the 2018 National Lotteries Authority Premier Division cricket series.

Browne tallied 335 runs from five matches, hitting four half centuries, nipping Team Rivals’ Casmond Walters, who scored 321.

Bobb grabbed 24 wickets, one more than Dyke Cato of FLOW Radcliffe.

Casmond Walters had 22 wickets to his name, and is in line to be named the division’s best all-rounder.

Meanwhile, Donwell Hector, who captained Victors One to the title, scored two centuries, the most in the division.

Hector lashed 146 versus Guardian General Saints and 107 against Police Two.

Hector dedicated his 107 made against Police Two, which helped his team lift title, to the late E Glenford Prescott.

His dedication was for Prescott’s unwavering support to him through thick and thin.

The Hector-led Victors One finished the competition on 79 points, with Team Rivals on 72, edging out Police Two, on 71 points.

Finishing third were dethroned champions FLOW Radcliffe on 54 points, with Guardian General Saints on 34 and Providence Electronic Solutions North Leeward, 25.

By virtue of placing last among the six teams, North Leeward will be relegated to the First Division in 2019.

North Leeward won the 2017 First Division, which earned them the right of a place in the 2018 Premier Division.
