Smashers win three from three in NLA First Division

Smashers made it three wins from as many matches last Sunday as the National Lotteries Authority first division cricket competition continued.

The combined batting efforts of Raymano Rouse, 64, Kuthbert Springer, 61 and Ozico Williams, 58, saw Smashers post 295 all out from 38.4 overs versus Carl Joseph Law Chambers ASCO, at the Buccament Bay Playing Field.

Vangel Small took 4 for 80 and Ricky Hoyte, 2 for 36, bowling for ASCO.

Only Ranjel Small’s 34 was any score of note, as ASCO folded for 106.

Javid Harry picked off 4 for 5, Darren Russell, 3 for 27 and Kirton Lavia, 2 for 28, as ASCO won by 189 runs.

At Arnos Vale Two Playing Field, Radcliffe Too had a seven-wicket win over Victors Two.

Jardon Jacobs topscored with 25, as Victors Two made 109 all out from 31.3 overs.

Canute Lewis snared 4 for 12, Reynoldson Hillocks, 3 for 23 and Coby Dabreo, 2 for 20, bowling for Radcliffe Too.

In response, Radcliffe Too, led by Kensley Joseph’s 45, took 13.5 overs to get 111 for 3.

And, at the Sion Hill Playing Field, Combined Youths recorded a three-wicket win at the expense of Keegan’s Bequia XI.

Geron Wyllie undermined Bequia XI’s batting, grabbing 6 for 18, as they were dismissed for 93. Jenry Ollivierre topscored with 20.

Combined Youths made the journey to the winning total difficult, but endured to reach 96 for 7, with Jordan Samuel leading the way with 34.

Bequia XI’s most successful bowlers were Courtney Ollivierre, 2 for 10, Meshack Williams, 2 for 22 and Leon Quashie, 2 for 24.

Four matches are scheduled for this Sunday.

Combined Youths play Strike Eagles at Arnos Vale Two; Belfongo engages ASCO at the Stubbs Playing Field, with E & J  Roberson Construction North Windward Youths taking on Radcliffe Too at Park Hill and Sunrise Bakery Glamorgan United facing off against Police One at the Sion Hill Playing Field.
