Jabari Cunningham emerged as the Most Valuable Player of the just concluded National Lotteries Authority Top Belair Progressive Organization Twenty/20 Softball Cricket Competition.

Cunningham, of champion team CGM Gallagher Novice, scored 294 runs and captured 14 wickets.

His tally of wickets also earned him the award for most wickets.

He was one of three century makers, with the others being Rawdon Bentick of New Level and Shamic Roberts of Sion Hill Tallawahs. Bentick also captured the award for scoring the most runs – 341.

Novice’s Newborne Joseph was named player of the final and Novice was adjudged the most disciplined team.

Also rewarded were the MVPs of the 18 teams that completed the competition.

In the knockout competition, played on the opening day and won by Sion Hill Tallawahs, Kerwin Williams of the champions scored the most runs – 73.

Williams and Okeiph Andrews of Nice Radio Clinchers shared the award for most wickets, as they both took two wickets each.(RT)
