Second annual Nine Mornings road tennis kicks off this weekend

The Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture, in collaboration with the Professional Road Tennis Association (PRTA) of Barbados, will present the second annual Capita Financial Nine Morning Road Tennis Blast. The competition will serve off from 7 p.m. this Saturday, at the Kingstown Netball Centre in New Montrose. Other venues include Layou and Biabou.

The prizes for the tournament are as follows:

Open Male 1st Place – EC$2,000; Losing Finalist – EC$1,000; Losing Semi-finalists – EC$250 each.

Open Female 1st Place – EC$1,200; Losing Finalist – EC$600; Losing Semi-finalists – EC$100 each.

Juniors Under-16 Boys and Girls – 1st Place – EC$500 each; Losing Finalists – EC$200 and Losing Semi-finalists – EC$100 each.

Deadline for the submission of registration forms to the Division of Physical Education and Sports, upstairs the Methodist Church Building opposite the Kingstown Seventh-Day Adventist Church is today, Friday, December 15, 2017 at 4 p.m.
