Afe Lucas takes four awards at X-Cel Tennis Tournament
Afe Lucas captured four awards last Saturday at the National Lotteries Authority court on Murrayâs Road, as the X-Cel Tennis Academy staged its junior Christmas Tennis Tournament.
Crammed into one day, Lucas creamed off the females Under-10, Under-12 and Under-14, and added the most promising player accolade to the good.
Another Lucas, Afi, won two titles, as he took the males Under-12 and Under-14.
But it was not totally an Afe and Afi Lucas affair, as three other titles were claimed.
Jadon Fraser copped the malesâ Under-8; Olivia Aussi the femalesâ Under-8 and Angelo Morgan was the winner of the males Under-10. Fraser added the most improved male player award to his collection.
And, adjudged the most improved female player was Deja Henry.
Awardees were presented with locally crafted tokens, instead of the usual trophies.
