Organizations confirm participation in TASVG’s 10K Road Race

Team Athletics St Vincent and the Grenadines (TASVG) has received confirmation from St Lucia, Montserrat, and locally, Richmond Vale Academy with 16 participants, and IT DAT Academy with nine participants, regarding their participation in the annual NACAC Chatoyer International Endurance 10K Road Race.

Interest in the annual event has also come from Grenada and Jamaica.

NACAC’s secretary-general Michael Serralta is hopeful that the office can convince athletes from the member organizations to participate in what continues to be billed as “The World’s Most Challenging 10K.”

On Sunday, November 19, TASVG will be part of what has been dubbed, “The Pre Chatoyer Rumble”, at the old airport in Arnos Vale from 1 p.m. – to 5 p.m.

Athletic competitions will be conducted on a 500m circuit.

Events are: Under-14 – 1km, Under-17 – 3km, Under-20 – 5km and 20+ – 10km.
