Lucia pressure too much for local rugby units

St Lucian outfit Roques Rugby Club was too skilled and mobile for the local teams, when they faced off last Saturday at the Sion Hill Playing Field, in an Independence Sevens Tournament.

Roques played unbeaten, ahead of a representative St Vincent and the Grenadines team, along with Country Pirates, Leeward Invaders and Town Sharks.

St Vincent and the Grenadines is preparing for the Rugby Americas North Sevens Tournament in Mexico later this month.
