Firms and Industrial Netball Tournament returns
The Firms and Industrial Netball Tournament, after holding its last edition in 2014, returns to the national netball calendar, this year.
Its return was ushered in last Monday at the Kingstown Netball Centre, with all nine competing teams on show for the opening ceremony.
Amidst the blaze of colour, it was newcomers BRAGSA Pavers, who got the judgesâ nod as the Best Dressed Team, with CK Greaves and Company, placing second.
The results were reversed in the Best Banner category, as CK Greaves and Company was declared the winner and BRAGSA, second.
Also competing for honours and most of all, bragging rights, are Harmony Investment Teachers, Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture, Ministry of Transport and Works Combine, KFC Pacers, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fireballers and last winners of the tournament NBC Radio 705.
Mondayâs opening had president of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Netball Association Doris Mc Intosh being the lone speaker to address the ceremony.
