Year Twos trump in SVGCC Inter-Faculty Football Competitions

The Year Two outfits beat their Year One opponents, as the 2017 French Verandah SVG Community College Inter-Faculty Football Competitions came to an end at the Sion Hill Playing Field, last Friday afternoon.

 Year Two Sciences and Business saw off Year One Sciences and Business 1-0 in a competitive final of the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies.

 Lexroy Bowens registered the lone item in the seventh minute of play.

Then, in the Division of Technical and Vocational final, Year Two ICT, CET and Business was too much for Year One ICT, CET and Business, outclassing them 4-2.

Goals from Javal Samuel, Zaide Boastwaine, Cheslon Hendrickson and Sherwyn Alexander accounted for the victors’ tally.

Both goals for Year One ICT, CET and Business were converted by Jerron Dopwell.

Next up for the SVGCC’s sports calendar is the French Verandah National Lotteries Inter-Divisional Competition, set to begin this Friday, October 13.
