All Millar House in SVGS’ Inter- House Football Competition
It was all Millar House last Friday at the Grammar School Playing Field, as they snatched both titles in the Franklyn Browne Valuation Servicesâ St Vincent Grammar School Inter-House Football Competition.
Getting the ball rolling were the Juniors, as they stumped Reeves House 3-1.
A brace from Lorenzo White and the other from the divisionâs Top Goal Scorer Denzil Bascombe, accounted for Millar Houseâs tally. Tyrese Lewis had scored Reeves Houseâs goal to make it 2-1, before White added his second nearing the end of the match.
Bascombe scored five goals in total, while White was adjudged the Player of the Final.
A similar tale unfolded when Millar House tackled Crick House in the senior final.
Malik Ferdinand, with a hat-trick and Zwicka Charles, the other, gave Millar House 4-1 win.
Shayne Lynch netted Crick Houseâs consolation goal.
Ferdinand pouched the Most Goals award for his five goals.
The Inter-House Football Competition was part of the institutionâs 109th anniversary celebrations.
The next event on the schoolâs sports calendar is the Independence Round âdâ Prep Relay Competition in October.
