Top Kiddy cricketers’ prowess rewarded

Those kiddy cricketers who excelled during the hosting of the finals of the 2017 skills festival were last Monday rewarded for their prowess.

Cane End Government’s Corey Mapp was the best batsman on show, with Delano Benjamin of the St Mary’s Roman Catholic, the best bowler.

Kyle Bowens of the Fancy Government pouched the best all-rounder accolade and his team mate Shenia Lewis, the best fielder award.

And, Cylbert Williams of the Pamelus Burke Government was adjudged the most outstanding teacher.

A total of 59 schools contested for honours in the skills festival.
