Mc Intyre excels in International Sprint Triathlon

Cedric Mc Intyre won his age group, the male 50 to 60, at the recently held 13th Annual Massy Rainbow Cup International Sprint Triathlon, which took place in Tobago.

Staged at Courland Bay, Heritage Park, Mc Intyre completed the 75m swim, the 20km bike ride and the 5k run in one hour 36 minutes 39 seconds.

He was among 97 tri-athletes who contested the event, with 95 of them completing the course.  

There were also participants from USA, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Poland, China, Guyana, Jamaica, Barbados, Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago.

Plans are in train, including an already drafted constitution, to pave the way for a St Vincent and the Grenadines Triathlon Association.
