SVG in Group E of CFU female U-17 World Cup qualifiers

St Vincent and the Grenadines has been drawn in Group E of the Caribbean Football Union’s (CFU) zone of the CONCACAF female Under-17 World Cup qualifiers.

The Vincentian lasses, who are being coached by Andrew Bramble, will be joined by Jamaica and St Kitts and Nevis, in the group to be hosted here in August.

Listed in Group A are Trinidad and Tobago, US Virgin Islands, Grenada and Curacao, while Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Anguilla and Bahamas are drawn in Group B.

Bermuda, St Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda and Aruba compose Group C and Barbados, while Cuba and Guyana are lodged in Group D.

Trinidad and Tobago, Puerto Rico, St Lucia and Guyana are the hosts of the respective groups.

Meanwhile, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Puerto Rico and Bermuda are the ranked teams in the group stage of the qualifiers.

Following the completion of the preliminaries, Haiti will host the winners of the five groups, where they are divided into two groups of three teams, with the top three teams qualifying for the final tournament as the CFU representatives to CONCACAF.

The top three from the CFU zone, will be added to Central American zone winner, along with the automatic qualifiers USA, Canada and Mexico and the host country, which is yet to be confirm, as the eight to contest the final round of the CONCACAF zone.
