Two schools receive football supplies from US donors

The Diamond Govern­ment School and the North Union Secondary were recently the recipients of a quantity of football gear, thanks to a group of donors, who are based in the United States of America.

Among the items received by the schools were balls, bibs, shin guards, ball bags, cones and other trinkets.

Speaking on behalf of the North Union Secondary School, the institution’s principal St Clair Da Santos expressed his gratitude to the donors.

He said that the equipment will assist in the school’s sports programme, as they aim at providing holistic development of the students.
