The two finalists had contrasting wins last Saturday in the semi-finals.

Hillview ended the reign of RSVG Police by nine runs, while Prisons ran out with a 47-run win over the potent Valley Boys.

Choosing to bat, Hillview, backed up by a late cameo by Macrico Ash (20), pushed to 114 for 7 from their 20 overs. Larry Baptiste finished with 2 for 8.

When the lawmen batted, Milton Trumpet grabbed 4 for 20, to ruffle their top order.

There was threatening knock of 29 by the belligerent Saline George, but RSVG Police still halted for 105.

Earlier that day, Prisons, who elected to bat first, were in trouble before a veteran innings by Winston Patterson (27) shot them up to 96 all out in 18.5 overs.

Alex Jessop took 4 for 5, bowling for Valley Boys.

But Kezzy Lewis, with 5 for 9, including a hat-trick, engineered Valley Boys’ demise for 49 in 11.4 overs.

Tomorrow’s final will be followed by the presentation ceremony.
