Guardian General Saints only gained first innings points over Lime Radcliffe in a drawn game at Arnos Vale One last weekend, thus stalling their push to challenge Team Rivals in the National Lotteries Authority Premier Division Cricket competition.{{more}}

Saints, without four of its key players for varying reasons, scored 258 for 7 declared, batting first.

Their total was propped up by Jerron John, who scored 69 not out, Zane Edwards – 37, Damaul Phillips – 31 not out, and Vic Toney – 30.

Bowling for Radcliffe, Dyke Cato had figures of 3 for 58 and Richie Richards 2 for 55.

Radcliffe replied with 201. Romario Pierre and Marcus Castello both hit 55 and Michael St Hillaire – 34.

Andrew Emtage snared 4 for 10 and Rolando Wright 3 for 78.

Saints, batting a second time at close of play, reached 85 for 5, with Dyke Cato – 2 for 26.

At Sion Hill, Police Two also earned first innings honours over Carl Joseph Law Chambers ASCO.

Police Two batted first and made 324 for 6 declared.

Salvan Browne rode his luck well to record 144, striking 16 fours and a pair of sixes.

Browne shared a fourth wicket stand of 88 with Kevin Abraham who contributed 29 and with Kenneth Dember, put together 135 for the fifth wicket. Dember’s 60 included six fours and a six.

Mc Leon Williams hit 31 at the top of the order.

Bowling for ASCO, Kenville Sam had 2 for 11 and Dean Browne, 2 for 94.

Dember then bagged 7 for 43 and Elmore Alexander – 2 for 29, as ASCO responded with 122. Dean Browne top scored with 39.

And, batting a second time when play was called off, Police Two reached 83 for 2. Kenneth Dember was 38 not out and Salvan Browne, 35.
