Calliaqua, Bustas go in search of national basketball titles

Aycees Calliaqua and Lady Bustas will be seeking to add another male and female title when the 2015 National Basketball Tournament ends this Sunday at the New Montrose basketball facility.{{more}}

Standing in the way of defending male champions Calliaqua is Mattafix Playaz, while Lady Bustas have to contend with Lady Advent Ballerz.

Calliaqua United and opponents in the final Playaz are both unbeaten and extended their run on Saturday in the semi-finals.

Calliaqua defeated Bequia United 98-88, while Playaz had a 78-76 downing of Mavrix.

And, like Calliaqua, Bustas will also be looking to hold on to their reign.

Bustas on Saturday humbled Lady Advent Ballerz 68-20, in a lopsided affair.

Taking the fifth place on Saturday in the male division was Inter Secondary School, who outpointed H&H Oral Dental Care Advent 94-56.

The third place decider between Bequia and Mavrix takes place on Saturday at the same venue.(RT)
