Central Kingstown depositing in national Under-13 football competition

Reigning champions of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Co-operative Bank National Community Inter League Under-13 Football Competition, Central Kingstown is showing up already in this year’s edition.{{more}}

When the competition began in earnest last Saturday morning at the Campden Park Playing Field, Central Kingstown continued where they left off last year, by beginning to boss Group B.

Central Kingstown had a 3-0 win over North Leeward and ousted East Kingstown, 3-1.

Other results in Group B saw North Windward edging out Georgetown 1-0, while GECCU Calliaqua played to a nil-nil draw with East Kingstown and levelled 1-1 with Georgetown. The other entrant in Group B is Greiggs.

Meanwhile, in Group A, Layou beat Buccament 1-0; West Kingstown also had a one-nil triumph at the expense of Layou, while Buccament and Hairoun South Leeward played to a stalemate.

Completing Group A are North Leeward and Barrouallie.

The competition continues during the Easter break for schools. All matches will be played at the Campden Park Playing Field.(RT)
