Standing in their way is Victors One, as both teams will go at it on Sunday, March 1 from 2 p.m., at the Arnos Vale One Playing Field.

Team Rivals ousted LIME Radcliffe by seven wickets at Arnos Vale Two.

Reduced to 18 overs because of a wet patch on the bowlers’ run-up, Radcliffe was restricted to 75 all out in 17.5 overs; Rodney Lawrence hit 22.

Olanzo Jackson – 4 for 25, Roneil Jeffrey – 3 for 14 and Deighton Butler – 2 for 4 did the damage with the ball for Team Rivals.

Casmond Walters – 25 and Marvin Small – 22 led Team Rivals’ reply of 77 for 3.

Similarly, Victors One was unperturbed when they met Guardian General Saints in the other semi-final at the same venue.

Atticus Browne struck five fours and two sixes in his knock of 57, while his opening partner Miles Bascombe belted 44, made up of four fours and three sixes, to set the platform for Victors One’s 178 for 5 from their 20 overs.

Donwell Hector’s cameo of 33 inflated Victors One’s total at the death. Hector was severe on Damual Phillips, whom he hit for three sixes and a four in the16th over of the innings.

Andrew Emtage was Saints’ most successful bowler, taking 2 for 14 and Rolando Wright picked up 2 for 27.

Saints’ batting never showed up and their 130 for 8 reflected in their response.

Andrew Emtage top scored with 29 with the bat, but it was the 54 extras which propped up Saints’ total.

The ill-discipline by the Victors One’s team resulted them conceding 31 wides, 14 leg byes, 8 byes and a no-ball.

Bowling for Victors One, Shaquille Browne had 3 for 22 and Ronaldo Coombs 2 for 18. They won by 48 runs.(RT)
