Loaded with many accomplished players, Madd Squad, after being held at bay by Pastures in the first half, turned up the tempo a notch in the second stanza of the match.

A goal from captain Myron Samuel opened his team’s account, which was then followed by items from Shandel Samuel and Dennis Prescott, as Madd Squad ran out 3 – 1 winners.

Pastures’ goal came in near darkness, through Sentwanki Douglas, who headed home a late consolation.

Myron Samuel was named player of the final.

Shandel Samuel and Malcolm Joe of White Wall shared the award for most goals, with six strikes each.

Javon Lynch, also of Madd Squad, copped the best goalkeeper award.

Madd Squad who also won the knockout, collected the winner’s shield, the league trophy, $1,000 and 10 cases of Hairoun products.

Pastures received $500 for the second place.

Sixteen teams contested the league. Organizers have promised to have improvements in the 2015 edition.
