SVG Rugby Sevens League in full swing
Action in the SVG Rugby Sevens League on September 27 at the North Union Playing Field started with a return match between Unrulies and the newly renamed Sharks, and also newcomers the Pirates, with a round robin between the three teams.{{more}}
Newcomers Pirates were the overall winners of the dayâs play, remaining undefeated in all of their games, thanks in large part to Phillip âOld Boyâ Alvis, who commanded his team with his seasoned play.
Other players of note were Jay-van Lucas, George âHuff n Puffâ Kruger and Morando âyellowmanâ Dallaway.
The next rounds of games will be announced in the coming weeks.
