Unrulies take inaugural SVG Rugby Sevens League title

The Unrulies are the winners of the inaugural SVG Rugby Sevens League, the SVG Rugby Union Football Club has announced.{{more}}

The league was kicked off with a best of three games between the Unrulies and the Rumrunners.

The Unrulies took the lead by winning two out of the three games, with outstanding performances by George “Country” Kruger, Godfrey Matthews and Jonty Bowens. But the Rumrunners kept play competitive with performances by Leonard “Good boy” Matthews with six tries recorded, Brendon “Mini” Matthews and Kemi François.

The next rounds of games will be held on August 30, 2014 at the Petit Bordel Playing Field.
