But, with one finalist known, the other will have to be decided on Saturday, at the same venue, when Captain Mack Memorial Royal Challengers meet Knights Trading Aussies from 2 p.m.

Both had started their semi-final match-up last Sunday, but the game was abandoned because of rain. At the time of the abandonment, Royal Challengers were 23/3 off 3.5 overs.

But certain in the final is Sugar Reef Bequia United, who got past Village Apartments Port Elizabeth last Sunday. Bequia United posted 195 for 7 from their allotted 20 overs. Ellis Lavia stroked 47 and Garvin Ollivierre 45.

Bowling for Port Elizabeth, T’wan Richards had 3/23 and Ormond Billingy 2/18.

Port Elizabeth’s response ended at 116 all out in 17.3 overs; Ashley Cordice top scored with 31 and Burton Forde contributed 20.

Glendell Gregg snared 3 for 26; Jefferson Richards took 2 for 7; Chelson Stowe had 2 for 18; and Garvin Ollivierre- 2 for 23, as Bequia United romped to a 79-run win and a place in the final.

Before Sunday’s final, the loser of Saturday’s other semi-final will meet Port Elizabeth in the third place play-off from 10 a.m.

The presentation ceremony is slated for August 24.(RT)
