Their innings was inflated by Jerron “Chubby” John, who slammed 86 not out, laced with five fours and four sixes. Gidron Pope compiled 35, before he gifted his wicket.

Bowling for Challengers, Walford Ambris with his Sunday afternoon lollipops, trapped 3 for 49 and Lawrence Kydd 2 for 31.

In their turn, Rate Your Boys Challengers provided little resistance and were dismantled for 55 in 16.3 overs.

Gidron Pope followed up with the ball, taking 4 for 8 and Ray Charles – 2 for 17.

Others vyeing for title honours are Third World, Glamorgan, Top Guns, Church Road Connections, Panthers and defending champions Mix Up Moods.
