Radcliffe 1 suffer humiliating defeat

Last year’s joint champs with Victors 1, Team Rivals, trounced Radcliffe 1 by an innings and 85 runs last weekend at the picturesque Park Hill playing field, in the RBTT National Premiere division championship.{{more}}

Team Rivals amassed a sizable 246 for 7 declared. Hyron Shallow, 82, spearheaded the scoring with other significant scores coming from Harley Skeritt, 62 and Marvin Small 60.

Radcliffe was dismissed in reply for 107. The pair of Captain Orlanzo Jackson and Asif Hooper bagged three wickets a piece for a combined total of 39 runs.

Asked to bat a second time, Radcliffe failed miserably to wipe off defeat of 158 and was routed for a meagre 72.

Captain Orlando Jackson bowling in tandem with Deighton Butler captured 5 for 26 while Butler grabbed 4 for 19.

Team Rivals are now leading in points in the RBTT National premiere division championship.
