The four, Emulas Alexander, Jesse Huggins, Keithron Malcolm and Mikhail Charles, qualified for the finals during a trip to the Dominican Republic earlier this month.

The team travelled to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on April 1, where they competed in four different weight categories (Light Male – 74kg: Keithron Malcolm, Welterweight Male – 80 kg: Jesse Huggins, Middleweight Male – 87kg: Mikhail Charles, Heavyweight Male +87kg: Emulas Alexander), and despite not medalling in their respective events, all have managed to qualify for the finals.

The members of the team are coached and trained by the president of the SVG Taekwondo Association Vanburn Harry (3rd Degree Black Belt).

The SVGTA congratulates these athletes and encourages all to rally around our Vincy warriors.
