Anderson harvesting another goal scoring bounty

Oalex Anderson is running away with the top goal scoring award in the senior men’s division of the 2014 Hairoun Beer National Inter-Community League Football Championships.{{more}}

Anderson has thus far slammed in 15 goals, for the defending champion Bank of St Vincent and the Grenadines Barrouallie.

In the past week, he hit braces against Sion Hill and versus arch rivals Layou.

Anderson was on target last Tuesday night when he struck twice in his team’s 2-nil trumping over Sion Hill.

He was, however, sublime on Sunday night, as he went into the top drawer and pulled out two items of quality.

First, he swivelled whilst skinning out a Layou defender in the penalty area, to rifle a shot past goalkeeper Jomo Huggins.

Anderson added his second with another hard shot from within the penalty area.

An admirer of Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo, Anderson is not new in goal-scoring, as he has numerous accolades since he was a pre-teen.

Still a teenager, Anderson has pouched several awards for goal-scoring at the schools’ level, as well as national age group championships, along with others gained at the various community league competitions.
